All Things Marceleste is here to anti-influence you. There’s some cooking, some crafting, some DIY, and some supernatural subplots. We’re not trying to sell you anything. All the characters and storylines are fictional. All the crafting and cooking tips, times, and costs are completely factual. Whether you’re here for a recipe or, for the first time, the rambling story that precedes it, please enjoy.
Wait, I’m Still Confused….
Who is Marceleste? Marceleste is the name of the building. Not a character.
Is this a thing I have to pay for? Here’s how it works: One plot post a month is free, other posts are available to Patreon subscribers. (You will still need to subscribe below)
But why should I have to pay for it? You don‘t have to pay for it. But there are two reasons for the subscription model. 1) The fictional storylines are a value-added. It takes time and energy to think them up. Hopefully they’re entertaining. 2) I’m very committed to keeping this ad-free. I’m not trying to sell you stuff you don’t want or can’t afford. I’m just trying to sell you a story and an interesting take on a craft blog. If that’s worth something to you, wonderful.
Can I subscribe without paying? Absolutely! There’s only one newsletter right now (because I am bad at computers) but it does differentiate between free and paid posts. .
Is there a way to read everything from the beginning? Hell yeah! It’s that button up top that says “READ FROM THE BEGINNING“. You can also read just the free posts from the beginning too.
How close is this to your real life? Well, for starters I don’t have any magical powers. I do have two cats and an apartment in an old building. I am a New Englander living in the Midwest. I don’t have a terrible job (I love my job!), although I have in the past. I don’t have as tight a budget as Erica, but I have in the past and I’m not living large by any means.
